From road races to the track, Light Horse athletes delivered standout performances across a busy early-May weekend. Highlights from May 2–4 include multiple club records on the track, top finishes, and strong efforts all around.
Run the Greenway Races

- Mason Joiner took first place in the 10K with a time of 32:51.
- In the 5K, Liz Lauzon earned first place in the women’s division, finishing in 18:53.
Kehoe Twilight Meet
- Aidan Mccarthy set a club record in the 800m, running 1:52.54.
- Bri Zator also set a club record in the 1500m with a time of 4:47.07.
Potomac River Run Marathon & Half
- Andrew Brodeur completed the full marathon in 2:37, with pacing support from Andrew Whitacre.
- Sean Nickley posted a solid 1:26:00 in the half marathon.
Broad Street Run (10 Miler)
- Colin McCauley finished in 52:18, placing 18th overall in a competitive field.
- Rayanne Luke turned in a strong performance, finishing in 1:12.
Apple Blossom 10K
- Tyler Smith placed 14th overall and 2nd in the 20-24 age group, finishing in 37:08.
