Mason grew up playing soccer before running cross country and track at Westfield High School. He continued running track at the University of South Carolina for three years, then transitioned straight into road racing. After moving back to Centreville and running alone for a year, Mason joined LHTC and found a passionate running community to be a part of. He is currently living in Pittsburgh for grad school but frequently comes back to Virginia for races and LHTC long runs!
